Home      About us
We are a group of conservatives in the greater Tallahassee, Florida area. Most of us are small business owners, retirees, or hourly workers. We believe in the Constitution as the rule of law by which the republic should operate and it is our desire to educate voters and candidates so that the best person is elected. In my case, I was a registered Republican since the time of Ronald Reagan (you had to be a Republican to get a job as a Deputy Sheriff at the time) until after the 2008 elections, when I became disenchanted with the party and joined the Constitution Party. After my experience of the past year, I've determined the two-party system along with money in politics are ingrained too deeply in our culture and minds to be changed, so I have rejoined the Republican Party with the goal of returning it to it's successful Constitutional-based platform.

I'm a retired law enforcement officer that now lives in the Tallahassee, Florida area. I wanted nothing to do with politics upon retirement in 2006. Fortunately or unfortunately, the IRS tax code prevented that from taking place. In 2009, this led to a 59 day exercise in futility in attempting to contact my congressman, Allen Boyd. As Mr. Boyd would later say in January 2010 speaking about Cap & Trade, my behavior was influenced by the tax code. I began to look at our federal government, became involved in the FairTax organization, learned website operation, opened the website Retired Public Safety, then this one, and joined some conservative groups in my area. This led to my volunteering for the Congressional campaign of independent candidate and now friend for life Paul McKain. I've also incorporated a group called Floridians Against REAL ID to educate citizens about our unconstitutional driver license law (which by the way came from Republicans in Congress when very few were looking). I've learned a lot during this time as to how the political process works or in some cases doesn't work.

If you have an idea or suggestion for the site, please use the contact form and let me know. I stopped being omnipotent several years ago, and could use the help.
